About me
I am a freelance conference interpreter and translator.
I grew up bilingual, speaking both German and English, and acquired and established my knowledge of Spanish through an exchange year in Mexico and a bachelor's degree in Hispanic Studies.
During and after my studies in conference interpreting at the ZHAW, I worked at SWISS TXT for Swiss national television as a subtitler, respeaker (live subtitling) and speech-to-text interpreter and still regularly subtitle shows.
I have been an active member of the Swiss Interpreters' and Translators' Association (DÜV) since 2016 and joined its Interpreting Commission in 2018 and its board in 2019.
I also translate for cantonal authorities and worked as an accredited interpreter for police, public prosecutors and courts for several years.
I regularly attend advanced training courses on topics relevant to my profession.
